Elevator Advisors' modernization survey provides an evaluation of existing elevator equipment to include:

• Space conditions
• Electrical supply characteristics
• Lighting
• Existing security and life safety provisions

After a thorough examination, we will determine how these areas may be affected by a modernization program and will offer commentary on the building work which may be required for compliance or to accommodate modernization of the elevators. Additionally, we will exam the hoistway and machine room areas to determine if any specific components may be reused or what components may need to be replaced in the modernization.

All findings will be presented in a report which will contain the following (where applicable):

• Recommendations of work
• Expected improvements of service
• Budget pricing
• Projected work schedules
• Specifications on all equipment to be retained or modified
• Specifications of any new systems or components to be added
• Performance requirements as it pertains to equipment operation
• Warranty requirements
• Maintenance agreement terms

During the construction phase, installation progress will be reviewed and reports will be prepared upon each elevator at final completion.
